<P>In the city of Pittsburgh, PA, Jessica Marie Baran was born on the 30th of
May at the beginning of the 80's, when not just the hair was big, but so was
the music scene. It was the age of two that Jessica got her first
piano. The piano only had about 12 keys and stood about 1-� feet off the
ground, which will foreshadow what, her life will be in eleven years.
As she grew older, music would always play a role in her life. She started
singing in the church choir at the age of 7. While singing there, Jessica decided that she would share her talent
with her local community. She tried out for <i>Annie</i> in '88 and
was cast the role of "Molly". Later that year she was cast as "Tiny Tim"
in <i>Scrooge</i>. Years of plays would follow, from
<i>Annie Warbucks</i> to "Into the Woods</i>. At the age of nine, Jessica tried out for the
"Children's Festival Chorus". With hard work she learned much on voice
technique and style.
<P>During the next year, she tried out to sing the National Anthem for the
local Pittsburgh Pirates. Being only ten years old, she was the youngest of those trying out.
The try out was successful, but she was placed on a waiting list because of her age. Though
two years later, on her 13th birthday, Jessica stood in
front of 45,000 people and "belted" the Anthem. She "wowed" the crowd and
still does to this day.
<P>The piano would return into her life at the age of eleven. Only
with three years of experience, Jessica
composed her first composition at fourteen. At that moment Jessica's life would change and she would
live to compose music. Currently, Jessica
has composed more than fifty instrumental and lyrical pieces. Dedicating two
of her songs to the Columbine Massacre and the tragic death of John F.
Kennedy Jr.
<P>The past six months in the studio with the help, hard work and dedication of her
sister Jennifer and close friend Erin, Jessica is looking forward to beginning a new chapter in her musical career with Trilogy.
