<P><b>How Does It Work?</b>
<P>After renting a GPS@Work transponder, it must be installed in the automobile that is going to be tracked. Typically, it is placed beneath the vehicle's dashboard. The installation can easily be done by yourself, or one of the members of the GPS@Work sales team.
<P>Once the transponder is turned on, it will begin tracking the automobile's movements. By default, the GPS@Work system will log the following metrics:
<ul><li>Date and Time of the vehicle's stops and starts
<li>Address of the location which the vehicle stops
<li>The length of time which the vehicle is moving or idle
<li>Distance travelled per leg of trip
<li>The max speed of the trip
</ul>
<P>Additionally, the transponder can be connected to the vehicles electrical system to allow Alerts to be sent to the renter. An alert is a message sent to a pre-determined email address, cell phone or pager when one or more of the predetermined rules is broken.
<P>Our technology allows us to offer, but is not limited to, the following alerts:
<ul><li>Exceeding preset speed parameters
<li>Seat belt usage
<li>Door locking/unlocking
<li>Entering/Exiting a restricted geographical area
